Tattoo+ Salve
Frankincense, lavender, cypress & geranium in a healing and nourishing base salve to soothe & heal your new ink, and keep it looking new.
This is the salve that started it all, the one I followed down the rabbit hole to the wonderful world of essential oils and natural self-made remedies. I knew there had to be a better way to heal my tattoos and keep them looking vibrant, so I did some digging and research and testing and mixing and sampling and trial and error before I came up with the perfect base blend, and then added healing and soothing essential oils and even a natural SPF to help protect the ink from the sun.
Ingredients
Coconut oil, kukui nut oil, beeswax, jojoba oil, tamanu oil, neem oil and essential oils of frankincense, lavender, cypress & geranium
Usage
Apply to a new fresh tattoo after cleaning to aid the healing process and care for that beautiful color. Apply to healed and older tattoos to brighten and keep fresh.
It is also a wonderful healing salve for other cuts and wounds. (I mean, that’s essentially what a fresh tattoo is, right?) It’s also a wonderful anti-aging salve! We use this for so much more than our tattoos! Since it is so soothing and healing, it's also great for minor cuts, scrapes, rashes, chapped skin, irritated piercings, sunburns, dried out sinuses, and so much more!
